Introducing the CS2 Toolkit – Now with Volume Converter!
I’m excited to launch the new CS2 Toolkit on my website — a growing collection of simple, focused tools built to make your Counter-Strike 2 experience smoother, cleaner, and more efficient. One of the first tools in the lineup is the CS2 Volume Converter.
This handy feature is perfect for players who want precise control over their in-game audio. CS2’s settings menu shows volume as a percentage, but the actual values used in your autoexec.cfg file are based on a quadratic scale — which can be confusing to convert by hand.
With the Volume Converter, all you need to do is input your in-game percentage (like 68%), and you’ll instantly get the exact decimal value (e.g., 0.4624) ready to paste into your config file.
🔧 Why This Tool Exists
I made the Volume Converter because I was tired of manually converting values every time I tweaked my audio settings. Now, it’s part of the larger CS2 Toolkit, so others can benefit too — no more guesswork, no more math.
Features
-
Convert in-game volume % to console-ready values, and vice versa
-
Instant results, clean interface
-
Copy-paste friendly for autoexec.cfg edits
-
Designed with simplicity and competitive play in mind
Whether you’re optimizing your setup for match day or just keeping your config clean, the Volume Converter helps you stay precise without the hassle.
